Job Description
The Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Nursing, overseeing the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care, and driving positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to ensure seamless nursing care delivery.
- Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts.
- Mentor staff, coordinate with other departments, and promote employee development opportunities.
- Contribute to recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
