Hilltop Holdings seeks an experienced Marketing Cloud Developer to drive the development and optimization of our digital marketing campaigns and Marketing Cloud. As a Marketing Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Marketing Cloud implementation to support Hilltop’s sales and service operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and IT to align technical strategies with business objectives, ensuring a seamless flow from lead generation to customer acquisition to customer retention.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, related field, or a combination of related experience and education.
- Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification, Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant Certification(s) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Cloud Developer (or similar role), with a demonstrated track record of successfully implementing Journeys, Campaigns, and Automations. Experience in the Financial Services Industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, Marketing Cloud Connector, and Audience Builder. Knowledge of integrating Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce Clouds and external data sources. Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL are a plus.
- Ability to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to optimize workflows and enhance user experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Marketing automation solutions (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder) using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Design and build email campaigns, landing pages, and customer journeys.
- Communicate with marketing and sales teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams to integrate Marketing Cloud with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Core Systems, Databases, etc.).
- Create and manage data extensions, segmentation, and audience targeting.
- Develop custom scripts and SQL queries to enhance campaign functionality.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Leverage potential integrations with other products in the Marketing Technology stack
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Marketing Cloud.
- Other Salesforce development activities as assigned by the Manager.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Marketing Cloud features and best practices.
