Looking for an experienced deli sandwich maker able interact with customers direct. Duties include taking orders and making the sandwiches, omelets, and burgers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining deli front counter
- Preparing sandwiches according to customer requests
- Slicing meats and cheeses according to customer requests
- Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food preparation and serving.
- Monitor food preparation methods and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
- Assist with receiving food and beverage deliveries, and checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of workspace to be in compliance with all sanitation and department of health standards.
- Other duties that may be assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Must have experience in deli/food service
- Customer service experience
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Must have minimum 1 year experience.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
