Hilltop Residential is seeking a Fund Analyst to add to our growing team. The Fund Analyst will play a supportive role across the fundraising and investor relations team. Job Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining quarterly asset performance reports for existing Hilltop assets
- Creating investor pitchbooks, investment summaries, and related fundraising materials
- Supporting the development of market-specific and asset-specific updates for investors
- Building out models and tools to support the ongoing reporting and fundraising efforts of the Fund team
- Actively managing existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
- Maintaining and improving existing models detailing fund performance
- Helping in the preparation of due diligence materials and the virtual data room for prospective investors
- Supporting Ad hoc reporting efforts, both internally and externally
Requirements
- Self-starter, dependable, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and strategic planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team in a collaborative other team members, hunger to learn, positive “can-do” attitude
- Experience in asset valuation/underwriting
- Strong financial modeling skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and Office products; database experience and/or additional programming skills a plus
- Creative in problem solving with ability to understand complex concepts
- Understanding of real estate valuation models, distribution waterfalls, performance metrics, etc.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
