Hilltop’s Marketing and Leasing Intern role will provide a gateway into a long-term career in real estate. this position will be immersed in the day-to-day marketing operations of our outstanding University Townhomes and University Village communities. This position will offer training on Sales and Leasing, as well as education on a wide variety of operational marketing functions including designing marketing materials, creating monthly content calendars based on trends, conducting outreach on-campus and at local business, and so much more!
The ideal intern will learn about all aspects of property management and marketing including:
- Hilltop's core values, management philosophy, and culture
- Policies and procedures of multifamily real estate operations
- Customer service
- Sales/Leasing including showing apartments, overcoming objections, and closing leases
- Marketing programs including social media, internet listing services, and preferred resident programs
- OneSite property management software
A general list of responsibilities of this role would include:
- Creating a monthly content calendar based on current trends
- Planning content days with staff and on campus
- Conducting marketing outreach on campus and at local businesses
- Establishing brand partnerships between the property and businesses
- Designing engaging marketing materials to support leasing efforts
- Working with the Apartment Life teams to coordinate and successfully execute Resident Events
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Qualifications:
- Must be full-time student enrolled in College or University; Concentration in Real Estate Program Preferred. r
- Outgoing, gregarious personality & an enthusiasm for marketing, leasing, and sales
- Sales, customer focused, and management minded individual with attention to detail is required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in content creation, digital marketing material creation in Canva or similar software
- A passion to serve residents, prospects, vendors, and colleagues
Part-time, Regular, Paid Internship; 16/hours per week split between properties.
