- Assist with management of the acquisitions pipeline.
- Lead and train acquisition analysts
- Work cohesively to support fund and development associates and analysts.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including pro forma projections, development budgets, waterfalls, sensitivity analyses and disposition analysis.
- Conduct due diligence on potential acquisition and development opportunities.
- Research market trends, demographic data, and economic indicators to assess investment viability.
- Prepare investment memorandums and investment presentations for internal stakeholders and external investors.
- Support the negotiation and structuring of joint ventures, debt financing, and equity investments.
- Assist with deal closings.
- Assist in preparing project budgets and cost projections
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, multifamily operations, and real estate technology to continuously improve analytical capabilities and drive innovation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA designation is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in real estate finance, real estate data analytics, development, investment analysis, or asset management in multifamily housing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including DCF, IRR, and waterfall structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills demonstrated by work experience and academic record.
- Experience with market research tools such as RealPage or Entrata is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, investors, and partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with joint venture agreements and loan documents is preferred.
