Business Operations Analyst

Hilltop Securities is currently looking to hire a Business Operations Analyst in Dallas, Texas. The Business Operations Analyst provides project support for medium to large scale initiatives by working across the whole project lifecycle, researching new projects, business process changes, or system modifications. Build and maintain strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technology counterparts and ensure project deliverables are aligned with business and technology strategies.

Responsibilities

• Salesforce Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of the Salesforce platform to meet the needs of supported business lines.
• Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the Salesforce platform and related business processes.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline workflows, enhance system functionality, and improve overall efficiency.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
• Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users across the various instances of Salesforce at the firm.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in projects aimed at enhancing the Salesforce platform and related business operations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in business operations, project management, data analysis, or Salesforce administration preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Salesforce administration and configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Certifications: Candidates will be expected to work toward their Salesforce Administrator certification.

About The Team

The Operations department’s work is vital to the functionality and success of HilltopSecurities. The department provides back-office support and service for the entire firm. With well over 100 employees ranging from specialists to senior managers, each individual plays a specific role in the overarching operation of the company. Operations’ areas of focus include clearance, settlement, unit investment trusts, government and mortgage-backed securities, money market instruments, and OTC derivates. Our Operations professionals also manage transactions between mutual funds and insurance carriers and their respective investors.
