We are currently seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who shares this vision and is excited to contribute to a vibrant, child-centered, and collaborative school community.
Position Overview
The SLP or SLPA at Hilltown is a vital member of the Student Services team, supporting students in grades K–8 in developing communication skills necessary for academic and social success. The provider delivers speech and language services as outlined in students’ IEPs and collaborates with educators, families, and support staff to promote language development across learning environments.
The anticipated start date for this position is August 20, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications (SLP or SLPA):
For SLPs: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current MA license as an SLP, and/or ASHA CCC-SLP certification
For SLPAs: Completion of an accredited SLPA program and current MA license as an SLPA
Experience working with children in educational settings
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a school-based setting
Familiarity with IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service models
Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and diverse speech/language needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students with IEPs, aligned with service delivery grids
Conduct or assist with speech and language evaluations (SLPA under supervision of licensed SLP)
Support students’ expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to integrate communication goals into the classroom
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and service recommendations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and communication with families
Communicate regularly with families and collaborate on strategies for home and school
Consult with staff and participate in student support meetings to address communication-related needs
Additional Expectations:
Attend and engage in faculty meetings, student services meetings, and relevant professional development
Maintain appropriate licensure, certifications, and compliance with all regulatory standards
Work collaboratively with the Student Services team to provide coordinated, inclusive support
