Sr. SQL DBA that has experience in bidirectional synchronization with ETL transformation between on-premises SQL and Azure SQL

1. Technical Expertise:

• SQL Server and Azure SQL: Proficiency in both on-premises SQL Server and Azure SQL Database, including setup, configuration, and management.
• ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, SQL Data Sync, and other relevant technologies.
• Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration techniques, including Change Data Capture (CDC) and replication methods.

1. Experience:

• Project Experience: Proven track record of working on similar projects involving data synchronization and transformation between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data synchronization and ETL processes.

1. Certifications:

• Microsoft Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• SQL Server Certifications: Certifications related to SQL Server administration and development.
• Experience Substitution: Extensive hands-on experience can be considered in place of formal certifications. Look for candidates with a strong portfolio of relevant projects and practical expertise.

1. Soft Skills:

• Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity during synchronization and transformation.

• Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
