What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN, Pacoima position at Hillview Mental Health Center, Inc.?
Duties:
- Provide medication support services, including administering of injectable medications
- Provide counseling, case management, crisis intervention and stabilization services as part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and para-professionals
Minimum Requirements:
- LPT or LVN license, California Board Certified
- Two or more years experience working in the mental health field.
- Ability to maintain current, complete, and legible clinical records. (Knowledge of Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Records paperwork is helpful.)
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide comprehensive services for severely mentally disabled population including nursing functions and case management.
- Proficient with written and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual Spanish-English is helpful but not required for this position
- Must show valid California driver’s license and current insurance information prior to start date and thereafter, on an annual basis. Must also maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to pass criminal background check and maintain clear criminal record to be eligible for continued employment.
