Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Experience in food service and a strong understanding of POS systems are essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process orders and handle transactions accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and providing change.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is required; experience in a nightclub or fine dining setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be of legal drinking age according to state regulations.
