What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Hillwood Country Club?
Hillwood is currently hiring a part-time Receptionist to fill some shifts at our front desk in the clubhouse's main entrance. This person plays a vital role in curating the best first impression for our members and guests whenever they walk through our doors!
Current shifts available:
TUESDAYS - SATURDAY from 3:45-9:00 PM
SUNDAYS from 9:00 AM -7:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing:
- Warmly greeting all members and guests upon arrival or departure
- Promptly answering phone calls and routing to the appropriate departments
- Accepting deliveries, sorting mail, and distributing to departments
- Monitoring the club's dining and event registration systems
- Entering take-out orders in the club's point-of-sale (POS) system, communicating with the kitchen to ensure timely completion, and ensuring accuracy before delivery
- Maintaining familiarity with club events, ready to assist members with questions and requests
- Assisting with other projects and tasks, as assigned by the Communications Director
How you’ll succeed:
- Data entry and multi-line phone routing experience preferred, but not required
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Adobe Photoshop experience is a PLUS
- Restaurant server or hostess experience is another PLUS
- Great attitude and a willingness to learn is a MUST
