Position Summary :
Hillwood Communities is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join its dynamic and growing team in Dallas. The Analyst will play a pivotal role in the evaluation, acquisition, and execution of both future and existing residential communities and joint ventures.
Working closely with senior acquisition professionals and leadership, the Analyst will drive critical functions, including financial analysis, due diligence, market research, and performance reporting. By providing actionable insights and supporting data-driven investment decisions, this role will have a direct impact on project success and long-term strategic growth. Opportunities to work with the FP&A analysts and team may also be available.
This position is structured as a three-year opportunity that provides significant exposure to the residential real estate development process. Advancement beyond this period will depend on individual performance and opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare, maintain, and enhance financial models for the acquisition, development, and disposition of residential communities.
- Analyze and model complex partnership structures, including joint ventures and equity participation agreements.
- Conduct market research and data analysis to evaluate trends, identify opportunities, and support investment decisions.
- Perform due diligence for acquisitions, including financial reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Create detailed investment memoranda and presentations for leadership, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate prospective deal structures, and project performance metrics.
- Communicate clear project status, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics with stakeholders.
- Support project teams with ad hoc financial analysis and research to address evolving needs.
- Monitor and report on project status, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
