Product Market Manager
Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for Product Market Manager for our Product Management team in St. Joseph, MO.
A Product Market Manager is responsible for managing multiple product categories within the Hillyard Brand. They are responsible for creating new products as well as managing existing products/formulas. They work directly with R&D to create product performance improvement and cost reduction and work cross functionally with all related departments.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities:
- Support and help manage supply chain relations.
- Provide training for internal and external customers.
- Responsible for identifying product performance improvement.
- Manage follow-up on Hils system issues.
- Define R&D specifications, performance and cost targets.
- Provide innovative ideas to company that lowers cleaning cost and improves results.
- Manage existing product life cycles.
- Identification of product launch needs and implementation.
Qualifications Include:
- 4 year Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of industry experience.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Understanding basic industry chemistry.
- Must have Jan San experience.
- Must have the ability to leverage all research tools and methods.
- Must have competitive research skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must have excellent presentation skills, and the ability to respond to questions.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
