Qualifications:
Required: Associate Degree in related area or minimum of 5 years’ experience in machining area. Must be familiar with CNC operations and CAD/CAM operations.
FLSA: Exempt
Salary Schedule: Per Approved Teacher Salary Schedule
Direct Report: Vocational School Director (Principal)
Terms of Employment: 9 Month
Eligible for emergency telework: With Supervisor approval
Purpose: Students will receive education and training in the use and functions of precision machine tools.
Essential Job Functions:
- Attend work in a regular reliable and punctual manner.
- To "telework" when requested by the District.
- Provide instruction, counsel, and evaluate student progress in both performance and knowledge areas.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date objectives, lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Maintain records on student progress, attendance, inventory, and other information as required.
- Take course as required to update skills and knowledge, and for teacher certification. Attend new teacher institute in August.
- Participate in professional teacher organizations and activities.
- Select and specify instructional materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
