We're hiring a Cheese Production Development Specialist to join our team!
About the Role

You'll be responsible for leading or participating in continuous improvement projects, interacting with various departments, and participating in safety and food safety initiatives.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing technical skills while training on process equipment.
- Participating in structured learning (digital and instructor-led) to develop technical, professional, and leadership skills alongside peers.
- Leading or participating in continuous improvement projects in operations environments, interacting with finance, maintenance, reliability, manufacturing technology, engineering, safety, and quality teams.
- Participating actively in safety and food safety initiatives within our operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Internal applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Held level 4 or level 5 role in operations.
- High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years related experience, OR Associate's degree in a related field plus 1 year's related experience, OR Bachelor's degree.
- Active/past member of department safety team.
- Experience as an On-the-Job Trainer.
- In good standing regarding performance and attendance.
- University applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree at program entrance in food science, business management, animal science, engineering, or a related field.
We seek individuals who can work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs is also required.
