Job Overview
Parts specialists are great communicators with customer service experience and up-to-date knowledge of the parts and design trends in their industry. This position is responsible for consumer retail parts and accessories sales that include, supporting the service department, providing excellent customer support and purchase guidance. In this position you will be a producer who supports the company's internal and external customers providing parts and accessories. Duties include inventory management (ordering, counting, control), retail sales, and providing excellent customer service. This job is fast-paced and demanding job that requires attentiveness, dedication, and quick sound decision-making capability.
Responsibilities
- Accurately account for all incoming and outgoing parts and accessories.
- Look up records and enter customer information.
- Process catalog requests.
- Answer customer questions and deliver customer service.
- Determine and communicate prices for parts requested.
- Completing any follow-up necessary to ensure complete and accurate service and customer satisfaction.
- Recognize opportunities and take the initiative to sell additional complimentary merchandise.
- Offer solutions and find alternatives to backordered or discontinued merchandise.
- Exercise good judgment and base decisions on the needs of the customer and the needs of the business.
- Ability to remain customer focused and responds in a positive manner when faced with difficult or stressful situations.
- Will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.
- Due to the needs of the company and customer, you may/will perform other position duties as designated by management.
Requirements
- Work well with Managers, Technicians and Customers, as well as other dealer associates.
- Guiding customers with product knowledge to help them make educated decisions about their purchase.
- Knowledge and history with powersports is a plus

- Calmly handle and resolve customer disputes
- Computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Properly fitting customers with helmets, gloves, jackets, and all other riding gear available.
- Using a web-based Parts Finder to assist customers with what they need for their unit.
- Ordering and picking parts for our service department so they can complete repair and maintenance orders.
- Maintaining current inventory and putting new inventory where it belongs.
- Answering phones and general customer assistance.
- Partner with other departments to ensure a positive relationship with the customer is maintained.
- Follow up with timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, product knowledge and an enthusiasm for the powersports industry.
- Attention to detail and ability to quickly learn about a variety of parts.
- Cashiering.

Pay: $17.56 - $20.00 per hour
