Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Job Description : Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. General Job duties : Types of procedures required. Flex RN Floats between various medical and surgical units. Job Requirements Required skills and minimum years of experience : 2-10 years experience. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required : Hawaii License. Schedule Information Shift or schedule requirements : 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled. 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. Unit Specific Information Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. : Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. Floating to other units / departments : Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions). Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept. : Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit : Medical 1 : 6 for days and eves, 1 : 8 for nights; Laulima 1 : 6; Cardiovascular 1 : 4; Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves. Dress Code : Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs. Orientation time provided for each unit. Additional Details Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
