Job Details
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for independently performing a variety of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment planning and fabrication of specialized treatment aide in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the physician.
Must be proficient on a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, and ARIA EMR. Must be able to treat 25-30 patients / day. Treatment modalities : 3D, IMRT, SBRT, electrons.
Set-ups include all treatment sites as this is a comprehensive cancer center.
Job Requirements
2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist / specialist experience which demonstrated a thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and / or techniques.
A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T) is required.
BLS certification is required.
A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist is required.
Schedule Information
This position may work on rotating shifts, with work on weekends and holidays.
