Job Details
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. The therapist evaluates, develops a care plan and independently treats patients referred to the outpatient speech therapy clinic. Patient care is biased towards Outpatient clinical care. Depending on census coverage is provided for Acute care and completions of modified barium swallow studies as per therapists skillset.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience preferably with outpatient and Rehab hospital experience. Acute care experience; independent and proficient in completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology without supervision by a radiologist.
Schedule Information
Generally set schedule 3 days / week, M-F but may include an occasional weekend or holiday dependent on staffing.
Unit Specific Information
Possible floating to IP rehab department depending on census at the time and staffing. Dress Code : Business casual per HBMC dress code for patient care delivered in the outpatient clinic. Scrubs permissible if floating to IP Rehab. Training in EMR documentation provided and orientation to rehab area / expectations.
