The purpose of the role is to plan and manage projects. The role involves structuring complex tasks into manageable work packages and creating project plans with accurately estimated timelines and resources. The job holder needs to engage and motivate cross-functional Team members.

- Courage and competence to take calculated risks, managing and mitigating risks, courage to proactively escalate issues.
- Structuring complex tasks into manageable work packages, and creating realistic project plans with accurately estimated timelines and resources.
- Mastery of project management tools, processes and systems, for time/ cost planning and tracking, task management, and risk assessment to manage projects effectively.
- Connecting and working together with the functions within the BU (Business Unit) and with the relevant units outside of the BU.
- Presentation and communicate to inform and manage relevant stakeholders.
- Plan projects: Structure complex tasks into manageable work packages, and create realistic project plans with accurately estimated timelines and resources.
- Manage projects:
- Engage and motivate cross functional team members
- Think in scenarios, create options and have plan B’s- Prioritize and understand trade-offs
- Take calculated risks, manage and mitigate them
- Work with various partners and stakeholders like plants, markets, finance, technology experts and external vendors
- Track, steer and do AIP management-
- Get tasks done
- Present results and get buy-in from stakeholders
- Other duties as needed or assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, required. Master Degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent certification, preferred.
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience and proven track record in project management in the field of mechanical product development, required.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire interdisciplinary teams and understand how they interact together.
- Focus on defining what needs to be done and bringing out the best in people.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; must be able to organize all projects, track successes, and bring these successes to the next project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; proven ability to communicate complex situations in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Ability to develop in a creative and unconventional way.
- Experience in and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to manage stakeholders from different levels.
- 40% domestic and international travel.
