What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2024-25 Substitute School Nurses position at Hilton Central School District?
Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for substitute school nurses. Registered Nurses are preferred, however LPN's may also be considered. Please apply online and download a copy of your nursing credentials:

Job Qualifications
Desirable traits of the candidates include:
- Current CPR/AED training;
- Current LPN license or RN certificate (RN preferred);
- Able to follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications;
- Able to follow doctor's orders for student medications;
- Excellent communication and telephone skills;
- Strong work ethic;
- Confidentiality;
- Able to interact with students, parents and staff;
- School experience is preferred but not required
Fingerprinting through the New York State Education Department is a requirement for working in the school district.
