What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser Runner position at Hilton Charlotte University Place?
The Hilton Charlotte University Place is looking for Restaurant Food Runners. A Busser, or Food Runner, is in charge of setting and clearing tables at a dining establishment to provide a clean and tidy environment for restaurant patrons. Their duties include removing used dishes, re-setting silverware and filling beverages for diners Responsibilities :
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
- Act as a contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
- Assist the wait staff with table setting by gathering and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
- Check-in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils
- Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check) Qualifications : Current openings are for 1 full-time AM role (5 : 30 am - Noon) and for 1 part-time PM role (4 pm - 11 : 30 pm). Candidates should be able to work weekends and holidays as business levels dictate. You will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience.
