Exciting opportunity to join the team at the Hilton Charlotte University Place as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. Responsibilities : The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing packages / deliveries for the hotel. Duties will include but are not limited to :
- Tracking Inventory
- Keeping Accurate Records
- Packaging / Weighing Items
- Printing Labels / Postage
- Distributing Products to Departments
- Making Shipping Arrangements
- Daily Communication with Vendors / Department Heads
- Tracking Packages for Guests and Deliveries for Conventions / Events
- Ensure Security of All Packages / Deliveries
- Verifying / Stocking Received Food Orders
- Assisting with Keeping the Loading Dock Clear / Clean (Pallet Removal, etc.)
- Filling Internal Liquor Requisitions Qualifications :
- Prior shipping and receiving experience is highly preferred
- Hospitality experience ideal but not required
- Strong attention to details Compensation : $20 per hour
