2nd Shift Position - 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, must be available weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring that room service complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in room service. Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet.
- Interact with customers to determine needs, satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
- Promptly answer Room Service calls, announce any specials, promote menu items and answer questions regarding preparation methods.
- Document orders, repeat items back to callers to ensure accuracy and quote expected arrival time with speed and accuracy.
- Immediately input order information into system, allowing kitchen staff to begin preparation; note any special requests clearly.
- Answer calls for pick-up of trays and/or tables and direct bus persons to retrieve items.
- Respond to guest complaints in a positive manner, negotiate a compromise and implement solution.
- Maintain clean and organized workstation.
- Keep track of orders and are being handled promptly.
- Performing general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as special guest requests.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
- Knowledge of all menu items and accompaniments.
- Ability to operate a keyboard to input Point of Sale procedures to pre-check, input order and close out the check.
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
