What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront?
What you will be doing
- Scheduling, training and coaching Maintenance and Grounds keeping Team
- Organizing repairs (including carpet cleans etc.), routine room maintenance, installations, deep cleans and/or renovations
- Ordering supplies and equipment
- Overseeing and maintaining HVAC equipment
- Coordinating with contractors and suppliers from all different fields
- Ultimately responsible for the care and condition of all property and assets
- Continually work in save costs (including labor) and efficiencies
The ideal candidate for this position
- Experience in a maintenance/resort department required
- Strong familiarity with pools, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. A trade ticket will be considered a definite asset
- In-depth knowledge about health & safety
- Problem solving attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, as well as Internet systems
- Must be a self-starter with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Professional, well organized, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Abilities
- Strong Interpersonal skills required.
- Must be flexible to work as business levels dictate, including evenings, weekends and rare overnight shifts as required.
- HVAC experience preferred.
