The Stories on High Rooftop Bar at the Hilton Columbus Downtown is currently seeking a Part-Time Server Assistant to work at our award-winning property. Bring your talents to the table in a creative, dynamic atmosphere, with teammates that share the same passion for hospitality!
Nestled in the heart of the Short North Arts District, across from the street from the Greater Columbus Convention Center, our hotel boasts 1000 guest rooms, 75,000 square feet of event space and several unique dining experiences.
Integrated within Hilton Columbus Downtown, Stories on High is located on the 28th floor & provides panoramic views of downtown Columbus, perfect for date night. The upscale rooftop lounge provides contemporary and classic interpretations of cocktails & small plates.

What will I be doing?
As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing?
As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
- Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
