Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and service-driven Banquet Set-Up & Server to join our events team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up banquet spaces according to event specifications and delivering exceptional food and beverage service throughout the event. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests experience the high level of hospitality that Hilton is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to diagrams and event requirements, including linens, tableware, centerpieces, chairs, and décor.
- Polish silverware and arrange place settings to Hilton’s standards.
- Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.
- Clear tables and reset for subsequent events or functions.
- Coordinate with kitchen and banquet teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Address guest needs and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space before, during, and after service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquets, events, restaurants, or hospitality preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right candidate!
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow set-up diagrams with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or carry items weighing 20 pounds or more.
