The Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center is hiring! Come join the excitement Downtown Fort Wayne and work at the premier, full service hotel in Fort Wayne.
We are currently seeking fun, energetic, team players that have a passion for Hospitality to join our Housekeeping Department as House Person / Laundry Attendant.
Position Responsibilities:
* Clean hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells and public areas in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations
* Walk all assigned spaces at beginning and end of shift. Remove newspapers, service trays, empty ash receptacles, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that require immediate cleaning
* Remove soiled linen, towels and trash from guest rooms and place in appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
*Stock Room Attendants carts with their linen for the day
* Assist Room Attendants with rollaway beds, cribs etc. as needed
* Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers
* Finish laundry which may include operating linen feeders, sheet and towel folders and flatwork ironing machines. Fold all items based on policies, procedures and brand standards
*On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform
*Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
