Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas according to established standards.
• Ensure all surfaces are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
• Maintain an organized work area and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored after use.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
