Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality management, ensuring that our hotel maintains high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial success while maintaining high service standards.
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
  • Train, mentor, and lead staff to promote a culture of excellence in service delivery.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
  • Manage phone systems effectively, ensuring proper phone etiquette is maintained by all staff members.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent budgeting skills with a keen eye for financial detail.
  • Exceptional guest relations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
  • Proficient understanding of hospitality management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
