Summary
We are seeking a talented Banquet Cook to join our culinary team at Hilton. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality banquet meals that delight our guests. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall dining experience at our events.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets and events according to Hilton standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development for banquet events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during events.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in food preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in a banquet or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff is a plus but not required.
