Responsibilities
- Work closely with and assist Housekeeping Manager in all areas.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and incident reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, floor care, and custodial practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
