Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel resort. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional customer service to our guests while performing essential accounting tasks. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION IS 11PM-7AM.
Duties
- Perform night audit functions, including balancing daily transactions and preparing financial reports.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records of guest accounts.
- Handle phone systems effectively, responding to calls promptly and professionally.
- Maintain security protocols during night shifts, ensuring the safety of guests and hotel property.
- Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Maintain a schedule of 11PM-7AM
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving guest services or front desk operations.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism and courtesy.
