Some Key Areas of Responsibility of the Van/Shuttle Driver include:
- Operate hotel shuttle van per schedule
- Extend courteous service to all guests; assisting with luggage as needed
- Maintain proper trip logs and reports
- Fill van as needed with fuel, and maintain cleanliness and condition
- Serve as valet if requested by the guest
- Suggest outside attractions to guests and interact, when possible, with help to questions, etc.
- Assist Front Desk with maintaining lobby cleanliness and organization
- Assist Front Desk with maintaining coffee/beverage area
- Assist with the setup of the meeting room when needed
- Run errands or pick up items as required by supervisor
Requirements of the Van/Shuttle Driver:
- Must be friendly
- Valid and current Mississippi Driver’s License
- Clean record with no major violations
- Ability to lift luggage on and off the van
- Speaks and writes English
- High School Diploma required
- Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
