Job Summary

Responsible for providing supervison to all Food and Beverage outlet associates and ensure proper completion of all F&B functions to maxize revenue and attaining optimal guest satisfaction. Food and Beverage operations include but are not limited to, directing and coordinating activities of the restaurant, breakfast service, dinner service, catered events, supply ordering and ensuring the proper appearance of the front of house and back of house areas. The Food and Beverage Supervisor implements company programs and supervises the daily operations of the restaurant outlet to comply with policies and procedures, maximize revenues, and motivate associates to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to guests.

Job Duties

  • Accurately take F&B orders from guest, prepare and deliver drinks/food
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Ensure proper interactions through attentive, courteous and efficient customer service to ensure satisfaction throughout stay.
  • Minimize safety hazards by practicing safety and following all safety rules and procedures
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist department, as needed.
  • Additional duties, as required.

Managerial duties

  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Order all food and beverage supplies, products and equipment
  • Supervise, train, and schedule all hourly servers, cooks and stewards.
  • Oversee banquet/event schedule and ensure proper preparation and execution related to F&B items
  • Ensure all F&B equipment is in good working condition
  • Able to work any shift, and fill in when other associates are not able to work their scheduled shift
  • Ensure all company policies and brand standards are being administered consistently and standard operating procedures are being followed
  • Implement company programs and supervise the daily operations of the F&B outlet to comply with policies and procedures, maximize revenues, and motivate associates to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality
  • Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
  • Monitors communication logs, and respond to F&B related requests
  • Assist with all emergencies at the property and handle them appropriately
  • Ensure proper operations and cash handling are completed per established policies and procedures and in compliance with all local, state, and federal agencies

Qualifications

· Over (2) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Hotel F&B experience, preferred.

· Self-starting and outgoing personality with a pleasant disposition, and strong attention to detail.

· Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with guests and visitors.

Physical Environment

The position performs indoors.

The position constantly requires the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; a stationary stance for long periods of time and moving about throughout a restaurant; and the operation of computers and office equipment.

The position frequently requires to move items up to 25 lbs.

The position occasionally requires to move items up to 50 lbs.

The position regularly requires to perform in a stooping, kneeling, crouching or, crawling position.

Notes

-A hospitable demeanor must be projected at all times.

-The hotel operates seven days per week, twenty four hours per day; schedules are reflective of business needs and employees may be requested to be available to work on days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
