Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all food items, including desserts and specialty dishes, according to menu specifications and health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service and high-quality food presentation.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
- Culinary experience, with proficiency in cooking techniques and knowledge of herbs and spices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods.
