Hotel Public Space Attendant – Hilton Garden Inn Martinsburg

The Aikens Group and the Hilton Garden Inn are seeking an individual to become a part of an award-winning team. The chosen applicant will be awarded a full-time job with potential growth opportunities in the hotel industry.

The public space attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel, inside and outside, and assisting guest with the highest quality of customer service. They are a valuable asset to ensuring outstanding guest services and financial profitability.

The responsibilities of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment:

· Clean designated areas inside and outside of the hotel, such as the lobby areas, restrooms, hallways, vending areas, stairwells, elevators, offices, fitness center, pool area, and banquet/meeting/conference areas.

· Perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, polishing furniture and fixtures, mopping, sweeping, and cleaning windows.

· Outside tasks include, but are not limited to, picking up debris from the parking lot, pulling weeds, and emptying trash cans and ash trays.

· Assist guest, breakfast bar attendant, front desk, and housekeeping when necessary

Qualifications Include:

· Great customer service and friendly personality

· Ability to present a professional demeanor, both in appearance and communication skills

· The ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

· Must have the ability to lift, bend, and move equipment

· Must be able to be on one’s feet for an extended period of time

· Must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks

· A passion for cleanliness

· A good work ethic
