PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
To efficiently provide high level guest/customer service to each and every guest, every time. To proficiently check-in or out a guest of the hotel in a professional and competent manner, exceeding the guest’s expectations and resolve any issues utilizing a warm and friendly disposition at all times.
Position: Night Auditor
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for thorough knowledge of PEP PMS and assist with any reservations.
2. Checks guests in and out of the hotel.
3. Adheres to all accounting and cash handling procedures.
4. Manage all guest requests and delegates tasks accordingly with other departments.
5. Answers all inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner, using clear speech and active listening.
6. Handle guest complaints.
7. Informs management of any unusual activity during the course of their shift.
8. Assist with shipping/receiving process in a timely manner.
9. Assist guest with luggage when necessary.
10. Maintain cleanliness of Front Desk area.
11. Completes nightly PMS audit functions, paperwork, reporting, etc.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Attends company orientation and other meetings as required.
2. Adheres to all policies and procedures.
3. Is expected to perform any related duty as requested by supervisor.
4. Assists other Team Members when needed.
5. Follows safety, security and emergency procedures and rules.
6. Utilizes protective equipment.
7. Reports accidents, injuries, hazards, near misses, defective equipment, property damage or loss to supervisor.
Physical Demands/Abilities:
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with guests and co workers, i.e., provide information, answer questions, etc.
- Stand and/or walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods
- Understand the operation of computers and calculators.
- Read maps and give clear directions.
- Be familiar with the hotel’s amenities and their hours of operation.
- Frequent reaching, stretching, bending, stooping, walking, standing, handling, talking and smiling.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Night Audit: 1 year (Preferred)
