Piatt Hotel Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Regional Maintenance Technician. This position will travel locally and perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed in our portfolio of hotels/restaurants in the Pittsburgh region.
As a Regional Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the following:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building upkeep.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel properties to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide support to on-site maintenance teams as needed.
- Assist in training and supporting hotel maintenance staff on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts for efficient maintenance operations.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to hotel guests and operations.
- Work closely with hotel management and corporate leadership to implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Travel frequently within the assigned region to support multiple hotel properties.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as general maintenance principles and practices.
- Valid Driver's License required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, testing equipment, and basic repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and contractors.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Flexibility to work on-call or during weekends and holidays, as needed.
