This is a dual position that will have duties as a facilities attendant and a laundry attendant.
Essential Functions of the position may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cleaning and sanitizing hotel lobby, hallways, restrooms, fitness center, and other public spaces.
- Ensuring pool, gym, and other guest amenities are well-maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitoring and replenishing supplies in restrooms, lounges, and other shared areas.
- Responding to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Adhering to hotel safety and cleanliness standards.
- Complete any special cleaning projects as assigned. Deep cleaning carpets as scheduled.
- Polish, dust and shine surfaces. Clean glass indoors and throughout the hotel.
- Clean and wax appropriate floor surfaces.
- Collect, sort, and process soiled linens, towels, and uniforms according to fabric type and washing requirements.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
- Fold, stack, and store clean laundry properly in designated areas.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies, including proper use of chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Act as an expeditor between the housekeeping department and housekeepers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Good time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or carry heavy laundry loads (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
