We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Area Sales Coordinator to support our sales team in driving revenue and ensuring seamless event and group sales operations. This role is essential in coordinating sales activities, maintaining client relationships, and providing administrative support to the sales department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in handling inquiries, proposals, contracts, and group bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and correspondence in the sales database.
- Coordinate and communicate with various hotel departments to ensure the successful execution of group bookings, meetings, and events.
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other sales materials as needed.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in site visits, client meetings, and trade shows as required.
- Process invoices, payments, and billing for sales-related transactions.
- Monitor and track room blocks, event details, and contractual obligations to ensure compliance.
- Support the Catering Sales Manager and Director of Sales with administrative tasks and special projects.
- Stay updated on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to effectively promote the property.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, hotel operations, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and hotel sales software preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional and positive attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is a plus.
