Responsibilities: In this role you will welcome guests, manage their information, distribute keys, and assign rooms, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us.
You will also be responsible to audit, balance, post, and report on the front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage outlets’ cash and credit operations and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal operations management.
Requirements:
- Prior guest service or night auding experience in a Hilton brand or hotel setting
- Must be 18 years of age
- Strong knowledge of software applications is beneficial, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)
- Strong communication and listening skills and excellent speaking, reading, and writing ability
- Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are highly desired
- Flexible schedule required for AM/PM/Overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High energy with effective and influential people skills. Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others
- Handle cash, coins, and currency at night
- The ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously should pose a challenge without being overwhelming
- Ability to comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas
