Restaurant Food Server

You will serve our guests at the restaurant by ensuring they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served on time, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. $4.25 hourly

• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests
• Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions
• Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations

• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and consent to a background check
• Must have the availability to work a mixture of breakfast and dinner shifts, weekends, and holidays
