Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
- Operate the micros POS system efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in catering events as required, providing bartending services in various settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bartending role within the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and retail math for managing inventory effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess valid food handling certifications as required by local regulations.
