What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance (Part-time) position at Hilton Garden Inn?
Responsibilities
- Guest room work orders
- Minor repairs and maintenance throughout the public areas
- Preventive maintenance of the mechanical systems
- Maintain the curb appeal of the property
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor plumbing/minor electrical
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (HVAC / kitchen / water / electrical)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarms / smoke and CO detectors)
- Maintain the pool and spa area
- Report to a facilities or maintenance manager and General Manager for issues
- These positions are not Entry-Level! Experienced Hotel Maintenance required.
Skills
- Experienced with hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Hotel experience (required)
- Management experience (required)
- State Pool Testing Certification (if you don’t have it – we will pay for the training)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
