What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman position at Hilton Garden Inn?
The hotel houseman position is primarily responsible for cleaning the hotel hallways carpet, floors, and some light maintenance duties.
Other duties include collecting trash from maids carts, taking soiled linen to the laundry, stocking supply carts, room deep-cleaning projects, inspecting rooms for repairs or fixtures, and assisting with other duties as needed.
Pool area cleaning as well as picking up trash in the parking lot as needed.
Ability to lift 30lbs, ability to climb stairs as needed.
Housemen must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays and have reliable transportation each day including weekends.
Previous hotel experience is a plus.
