Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Valdoro Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property. This includes but is not limited to:
* Maintaining all guestroom and public space equipment
* Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown, and popcorn ceilings
* Implementing planned scheduled preventative maintenance
* Maintaining accurate functioning of all equipment and tools
* Ensuring every interaction with an owner/guest/team member is positive and memorable
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English
* A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 1-2 years experience in facilities maintenance
* Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations
