What will I be doing?
As a Seasonal Server, you would be responsible for serving food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to our owners and visitors while also providing the highest level of customer service.
- Acquire knowledge and service of menu items and beverage brands as well as cocktail recipes, varieties of beer and wines, soda, water, sugars, and other prepared beverages.
- Performs in accordance with all state regulations regarding alcohol service and consumption.
- Guests should be promptly provided with hot and cold food as needed.
- Follow all Steps of Service including, but not limited to greeting/welcoming guests, upselling, establishing rapport, serving, pre-bussing, thanking guests, and inviting guests back.
- Collect payment for food and drink served at the pool grill area.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to enforce to health standards. Keep the area in and around the bar grill clean and free of clutter.
- Full knowledge of Micros and end-of-shift reports.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Carries out all reasonable requests by management.
- Eligibility: All U.S. hourly Team Members not represented by a labor organization or subject to collective bargaining agreement
Qualifications

- 1-year previous bartending/serving experience in a hospitality environment.
- High school Diploma/equivalent.
- 1 year previous bartending/serving experience in a hospitality environment.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification.
- Food Safety Certification.
