As an Engineering Inventory Specialist at Hilton Grand Vacations, you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative duties of the Engineering Department. You will coordinate inventory management, reporting, safety training, and documentation. Additionally, you will handle purchasing, project progress documentation, and tracking repairs or replacements. Your dedication to maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and security of the Engineering Shop and other maintenance areas will be essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for the Engineering Department
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on inventory status and usage
- Conduct and document safety training sessions for the team
- Purchase required materials and ensure timely delivery
- File and document project progress, ensuring records are up-to-date
- Track repairs and replacements, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and security of the Engineering Shop, cart corrals, and storage locations
- Foster positive working relationships within the department and with other operating departments on property
- Minimum of two years of maintenance (engineering) experience
- Prior inventory experience preferred
- Accounting or purchasing management experience preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- CPO and EPA certifications preferred, but not required
- Ability to frequently lift supplies and equipment
- Valid and clean Driver's License record
- Great teammate attitude with excellent inter-personal skills
